General conditions:
- To be transported as checked baggage, sports equipment must be properly packed and put in appropriate bags. The passenger must complete the respective transport declaration (attachment 3). In the absence of this document, or if the equipment is not properly packaged, the transport of it may be refused. You can carry your equipment with a maximum weight of up to 32 kg / 70 lbs.
- The transport of a non-motorized bicycle in the hold must comply with the following recommendations: it must be packed with the handlebar on its side and the pedals must be removed; alternatively, the equipment must be coated in cellophane or similar and packaged in a cardboard box; it is recommended that the handlebar be turned up to 90 degrees and held firmly in this position; can carry a maximum weight of 32 kg / 70 lbs.
- Diving Equipment must be packed in a single carrying bag. Cylinders will need to be easily checked for oxygen. This type of equipment is only accepted if it is transported in the hold, maximum weight of the transport bag is 32 kg / 70 lbs; regardless of its dimensions, the piece with the diving equipment will be considered as if it were a piece up to 158cm;
- To check the equipment as checked baggage for transport in the hold, it must be well packed in order to guarantee its safe transportation, resistant to the normal pressure of cargo loading.
